Brasserie Nacional

Amsterdam

Brasserie Nacional Amsterdam. Horecatycoon Casper Reinders will open his tenth case in the center of Amsterdam on July 16, 2014. Together with partners Dobson and Uzcudun, he creates a French brasserie called Nacional on Leidseplein in Amsterdam. The restaurant seats about 140 guests and has two entrances; one on the Korte Leidsedwarsstraat, and one on the Kleine Gartmanplantsoen (Leidseplein).

A pleasant cooperation between Bas Jonker of Piet Jonker B.V. the men of Flow Works and Casper have resulted in the most beautiful brasserie in Amsterdam. The interior of Nacional De New Yorks / French brasserie is decorated with all kinds of old materials including New York tiles, French strips parquet, cement tiles from Lyon, 40 converted industrial fluorescent lamps, cast iron columns, French railings and old mirror glass.

The Nacional bar is composed with old French oak panels and in the backbar complete old wooden refrigerators have been processed. Industrial washbasins with porcelain wall lamps define the image in the toilet areas. The use of these materials ensures that you imagine yourself in a brasserie that has existed for generations, which is emphasized by the use of different tables. Tables with old marble tops, round tables with old copper and zinc and rectangular and oval tables of old wood.
