Description

Bronze statue of a Pegasus made by sculptor Toon Slegers, 1970s. The statue is cast according to the Cire Perdue method, in which the original wax model is lost, creating a unique piece. (Cire Perdue is French for “lost beeswax” in the sense of “lost cast”). The Pegasus rests on a pole that is stuck in the ground.
