Salvador Dali powder box in the shape of a bird

Salvador Dali powder box designed for Elgin American. This ‘Bird-in-hand’ powder box in the shape of a bird is made of silver-plated brass with gold-plated details on the wings. Dali’s signature is in black enamel writing on the bird’s head. The head can be pulled out to reveal a lipstick tube. Inside is a mirror with powder compartment showing the Elgin American logo. The tail can be folded up to open a separate compartment for use as a pill box. With accompanying storage bag.
