Pair large and richly ornamented french gilt pier mirrors

Pair of large antique french pier mirrors. The slim wooden frames are exceptionally rich and finely sculpted with goldleaf gilded gesso. The mirrors are abundantly ornamented. with on the top and bottom C-scrolls and leafs, and acanthus leafs around the mirror panels. The old mercury mirror glass shows little weathering and has metallic glittery reflection that is typical for mercury mirrors.
