Dutch Rococo Overmantel in Carved Wood, ±1740

This Dutch overmantel, dating from around 1740 and spanning the Rococo-Transition to Régence period, is crafted from fine wood carving. It features a central ornament in the shape of a VOC ship, referencing Dutch maritime history.
