Roger Capron design coffee table from the 1970s

Roger Capron was a successful French designer. In 1970 he won the Grand Prix International de la Céramique. He also made use of ceramics in his furniture. This round coffee table is inlaid with terracotta tiles with leaf motifs. The leaf motifs come from real leaves that he pressed into the wet clay before firing.
