Beautiful vintage kangaroo magazine holder

Beautiful vintage magazine holder designed by Dimitri Omersa for Abercrombie & Fitch in the 60s. This large kangaroo is made of thick leather, filled with hay and iron wire. In his pouch one could store a magazine or newspaper, later it was also used for the remote control. The kangaroo is firm and in good condition, but the leather does show traces of its age. This kangaroo is rare in Abercrombie & Fitch’s oeuvre, a real eyecatcher and atmosphere maker in an interior. 81 cm high, 46 cm wide and 69 cm deep including tail.
