Antique French marble mantelpiece in pastel green and pink tones

Antique French trois coquilles mantelpiece, pied galbe model from the 19th century. This fireplace is made of a rare marble called Campan Rose Vert. Campan marble is usually known for its hard combination of green and blood red. This rosé variant has the friendlier combination with exceptionally beautiful pastel shades in light green and light red or pink, reminiscent of “candy or ice cream colours”  in pistachio, raspberry and vanilla shades.
