An antique 18th century, Louis XIV, cast iron fireback with the Sun God Apollo on his chariot surrounded by a double circle of wine/grape vines.
Apollo: Son of Jupiter and Latona, brother of Diana, god of the sun, inspirer of the Muses.
Apollo’s chariot. Behind the car, a snake throws flames.
