Antique enameled fireplace insert with floral motif and scallop handle, c. 1900 (Art Nouveau)

Complete fireplace insert set from the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period, consisting of the central insert and two matching side cheeks. The piece is crafted from enameled  cast iron.

The surface is enriched with vivid, detailed floral decoration in rich, hand-painted colors on a light-colored base.

A unique feature is the closable firebox opening at the bottom, fitted with a metal door and an elegant scallop shell handle. This is a rare and complete architectural salvage element.
