Antique Dutch carrara marble Louis XVI fireplace, ± 1780. From a mansion in ‘s Hertogenbosch. This special 18th century fireplace is made of carrara marble in statuario quality, and is richly decorated with garlands on the front, acanthus leaf on the posts with a staff with pine cone flanked with laurel leaf below a festoon.
