Antique Allie Maillard conformator and hat makers set. Made in Paris, France, 2nd half of the 19th century.

The Conformateur, is a French designed and patented tool used to measure a person’s head size and shape so that a hat can be custom built by a milliner. With two hat molds and hat edge iron.

There is a part missing from the top of the conformator as seen in the photo. Nevertheless, fantastic steampunk-look decorative items for mechanical enthusiasts or hat makers.
