18th century Italian Roccoco Carrara marble fireplace. This antique Louis XV mantelpiece has an asymmetrical centre cartouche with flowers and foliage. The jambs are carved with details that come free from the back. This fireplace is carved from three solid marble blocks, which is a real sign of the age of this piece.
