Antique oak panel from the Renaissance period (c. 1650)
Description
This beautifully carved panel originates from the Renaissance period and dates back to around 1650. Made of oak, it features a richly detailed relief with elegantly executed floral motifs, including stylised flowers, leaves, and vines. The symmetrical composition, centred around a flower within a cross-shaped frame, is surrounded by gracefully curved lines and fine detailing.
The deep patina and aged wood highlight its age and give the piece a warm, historic character. Originally, panels like this were often part of larger pieces of furniture or architectural woodwork in churches or stately homes.
A unique decorative object full of character—perfect as a wall-mounted artwork or as a collector’s item in a classic or wabi-sabi inspired interior.
